We’re spicing up your summer the only way we know how, block party style! Come hang out with us as we celebrate longer days, warmer nights in the beloved Mission District in San Francisco. Bring your friends, families, and neighbors while we promise to deliver the perfect pairing of food, drinks, love, and music! Did we mention it’s free?

As in previous years, the beloved Bay Area block party-style event is free to attend and will again benefit its 19th Street neighbors — the Mission Language and Vocational School (MLVS), a nonprofit organization that has been a Mission staple for nearly 50 years.

The 20th Street corridor between Harrison and Bryant Streets will be transformed into a party to showcase and celebrate a diverse neighborhood that blends modern ideas with community traditions to create a new San Francisco experience. In true 20th Street Block Party fashion, the music will bring some of the best acts from the Bay Area and beyond to the heart of San Francisco’s historic Mission District. Last year’s Block Party experienced its most successful event to-date with more than 22,000 guests in attendance and featured Neon Indian, Kilo Kish, Hoops, Sugar Candy Mountain, and The Tambo Rays, among others. Other notable past performers have included Mac Demarco, Chicano Batman, Miami Horror, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Two Gallants, Nick Waterhouse, Andrew St. James, and more. Stay tuned as the 2018 full music lineup will be announced later this summer.
