Stern Grove Music Festival’s 84th Season Line-up Announcement

We are thrilled to announce Stern Grove Music Festival’s 84th season line-up! Celebrate the return of live music to San Francisco with Ledisi, Perfume Genius, San Francisco Symphony, Thievery Corporation, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, X, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Thundercat, Fitz & The Tantrums, Tower of Power, and Too $hort and more. As always, the shows are free, however, this year reservations are required to gain admittance. Reservations open 12 days in advance of each particular performance. In addition to hosting the same great in-person festival you love, the organization will also live stream its concerts this year on StageIt. Register for free to view our live streams on concert Sundays this summer. Gather your family & friends, have a picnic and watch safely at home.

Stern Grove Music Festival is excited to be back this summer! However, due to COVID protocols, there are many changes to the Festival this year, including:

  • Advance Reservations Required
  • Designated Entrances – Doors Open at 12 noon
  • Limited Capacity, Perimeter Fencing
  • Masks are subject to the current SF Department of Public Health order

Stern Grove Festival is a beloved annual San Francisco summer tradition spanning 84 years and counting. Each summer, the Festival presents 10 free concerts featuring a curated mix of popular headliners, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, Grammy Award-winners, and rising new stars. Past Festival performers include The Isley Brothers, Smokey Robinson, The Doobie Brothers, Kool & the Gang, Janelle Monáe, Toots & the Maytals, Mavis Staples, The Psychedelic Furs, Mitski, Pink Martini, Ziggy Marley, Ozomatli, Digable Planets, Carlos Santana, Sheila E., and many more!
