Real Neato Music Festival is officially returning on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for its 8th annual celebration, bringing the absolute best of Bay Area indie music to the majestic coastal redwoods of Guerneville’s Rio Nido Roadhouse. Running from 2 to 10 p.m., this one-day West Sonoma County favorite packs two stages full of live music, incredible local food and drinks, unique makers, and those effortlessly cool, mellow Russian River vibes we all crave late in the summer.
The lineup this year is a beautifully curated deep dive into Northern California talent. Sonny & His Rhinestone Sunsets ease you in with a warm, rootsy sound built for a golden afternoon under the trees, while Kelly McFarling delivers a lush, immersive set powered by soulful vocals and deep grooves. EagleWolfSnake kicks the energy into gear with a playful, guitar-heavy fusion of New Wave, ’80s rock, and punk, perfectly paired alongside Hot Brother’s romantic, slightly mischievous take on indie rock. You’ll get dreamy, danceable post-punk textures and infectious hooks from Mint, contrasting with Nice World’s blend of bittersweet melodies, heavy guitars, and North Bay DIY grit. Rounding out the bill, PLOVVER brings loose, storytelling songwriter energy full of life’s wild misadventures, while The Carrots deliver hypnotic instrumentals that glide seamlessly between surf rock, psychedelia, jazz, and pure groove.
Brought to life by TruEcho, The Rig Mobile Venue, Fleetwood, and the Rio Nido Roadhouse, Real Neato remains one of the most intimate, authentic festival experiences in the region. Advance tickets are live now, including discounted passes for kids 12 and under, but keep in mind that venue rules mean you’ll need to leave your pets at home for this one.
