For eight years, the Balanced Breakfast Music Summit has brought together musicians, industry professionals, and creative leaders to share knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen local music communities. After years of Summits in San Francisco, we’re excited to bring the event to Napa for the first time.
On June 6, Hampton Inn & Suites Napa will host a full day of panels, networking, live performances, and conversation designed to help artists at every stage of their career. Attendees can explore two concurrent tracks: the Musician Track, focused on creativity, performance, and artistic growth, and the Business Track, covering marketing, booking, licensing, social media, revenue, and career strategy.
With speakers, performers, and attendees from across California and beyond, the Summit is an opportunity to learn, connect, and become part of a growing music community. A food truck will be on-site throughout the day, and attendees are welcome to move freely between sessions to create their own experience.
The Musician Track
Focused on the creative and human side of making music, this track explores:
- Songwriting, creativity, and artistic growth
- Performance, touring life, and stage presence
- Wellness, balance, and long-term sustainability
- Collaboration, community, and creative identity
The Business Track
Focused on the practical realities of building a music career, this track covers:
- Marketing, branding, and social media
- Streaming, distribution, and royalties
- Booking, touring, and live events
- Legal, finance, and career strategy
Attendees are encouraged to move freely between tracks throughout the day.
Live Music on Patio
Live music will take place throughout the day on the patio, featuring artists performing intimate, in-the-round sets. Attendees are encouraged to move between panels and performances, discover new music, and connect with artists in a relaxed outdoor setting.
