We are excited to announce this year’s Real Neato Music Festival—taking place again at the Rio Nido Roadhouse in Guerneville, CA on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2pm to 10pm. The single-day fest takes place in West Sonoma County’s most picturesque setting: The Russian River Valley. TruEcho Artists & Events, The Rig Mobile Venue, and Fleetwood have partnered with the Rio Nido Roadhouse to present a fun-filled day of lively music, delicious food and drinks, local makers, and plenty of good, mellow vibes.
The majestic coastal redwoods provide the perfect backdrop for the best little festival in Northern California. Two stages provide non-stop tunes from these Bay Area Indie bands: Jesse Judies • Kacie Hill • Mild Universe • ¿Qiensave? • Spooky Mansion • Suzanimal• The Band Ice Cream • The HA
One of the festivals main sponsors, Johnson’s Beach, has detailed info and options on their website about camping options. It’s right on the river, and is hosting the “Unofficial Real Neato Kickoff Party” on Friday night. It’s unaffiliated, but organizers are hoping folks will attend both events. So, if you want to return to simpler pleasures at our Russian River campground and recharge in a rustic setting surrounded by majestic redwoods, Johnson’s Beach offers a range of lodging for a comfortable stay. Options include vintage cabins from the 1920s, and an urban campground—complete with BBQ area and laundry facilities.
Cottages on River Road offer guests cozy studios and two-bedroom cottages that are comfortable and include refrigerators and free wi-fi. Plan your getaway at the Cottages and lounge on your balcony, by the pool, in the landscaped garden or gather around our campfire.
Guerneville Lodge provides accommodations with a garden and wonderful river views. Built in 1940, this 3-star hotel is within a mile of Guerneville and Rio Nido. The hotel features family rooms in a lodge setting with private bathrooms, a lovely common space, and breakfast.
