Sisters Natalie, Allison, and Meegan from Portland, Oregon perform together under the monicker Joseph. I first discovered them in 2013 when they played my radio show before playing at Bottom of The Hill. Since then their band has dramatically gained fans by touring the world and playing on the Tonight Show with Jimmi Fallon. In 2017 they played Outside Lands and each of their San Francisco appearances has increased in size.
Last month, I had the fortune of seeing them live at The Fillmore for the last show of their most recent tour. I got to hear songs from their new album “Good Luck, Kid” which is out now, and features their single “Fighter.” Their sound is super polished and because they are sisters their voices pair together super well. It’s super fun to see them live, their stage presence compliments each other very well.
They have 27+ shows in the near future. If they are playing your city, I highly recommend catching their live set. This is a band you want to hear and then be friends with.
