Planet Booty’s 2022 Residency at Elbo Room in Oakland

Don’t miss Planet Booty at Elbo Room every Thursday in July. Described as “SoulCycle for music fans” by my housemate. This is a positive live music experience for men, women, and everybody in-between. If you don’t understand that reference you either haven’t taken a bike riding class designed to make Das Booty sweat or haven’t been to a planet booty show. Riding elliptical with a peppy ride instructor and listening to Dylan sing both help you deal with your worldly problems while helping you feel better about yourself.

Planet Booty is an experience that is positive for your mind, body, and soul. It is sexual, it is intimate, it is Futuresweat, (sweaty) and it is consensual. Dylan Charles Germick, Josh Cantero and Rob Gwin have been combining multiple live instruments and electronics into a mixtape of pop, R&B, 90’s house, 70’s funk and classic that makes you want to get Naked for many years now. Over the years the band has taken many forms, had many members, but one thing has remained consistent, this music makes you want to Take Off Your Pants! (Only if You Say Yes)

The band has opened for Lizzo, Big Freedia, Ninja Sex Party, Sisqo, Peaches, K Flay, Capital Cities, TWRP, Escort, and Turquoise Jeep. If you’re Not Afraid and are willing to open up your hearts to them … they’re bound to make you Dance in Your Bedroom after the show.
