PANIC IS PERFECT
At its heart, Panic is Perfect’s music is handmade quirky pop with a heavy dose of syncopated rhythms.
We started as a folk-tronica duo playing art openings in San Francisco’s Mission district. Over time, and in conjunction with our first record deal, the project evolved into a 5-piece band that toured the US extensively, playing a dance-y high-energy percussion-driven show.

After a few years with the label, I found that writing songs to fit the taste of music executives is just not for me. I would much rather make something raw, authentic and personally meaningful than chase down what someone else thinks will sell. After we moved on from the label, the other founding member of the band decided to go his own way. And so Panic is Perfect has managed to find its way back to where it started: my total obsession with writing, recording and performing music. 😉

GREAT HIGHWAY
Our earworm songs package sometimes-hopeful, sometimes-sorrowful lyrics with powerhouse male-female vocals, and dance-y yet sentimental arrangements.

Great Highway originally formed as an acoustic guitar-driven indie-pop group. But over the years, it has blossomed into a high-energy electronic rock outfit that represents the eclectic electro scene thriving in the SF Bay Area.

THE MINNESOTA CHILD
The Minnesota Child is an indie folk/pop project by brothers Ethan and Matt Buckner. The band blends soulful melodies, stirring lyrics, and intricate harmonies to produce a lush indie folk/pop sound that inspires and connects listeners. Led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ethan Buckner and his brother, drummer and producer Matt Buckner, TMC creates an expansive and symphonic sound reminiscent of Paul Simon, Ben Howard, and The Head and the Heart. In February 2018, TMC made its formal debut as a full band headlining Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Their brand-new record, Fireflies, is “a life-affirming, joyful collection of songs that find the beauty in both the dark and the light” (Impose).
