How Weird Street Faire 2024 ft. music, art, costumes, and dancing

How Weird Street Faire is the longest-running dance festival / street parade on the West Coast returns on Saturday, September 21 to San Francisco. A city famed for its diversity, innovation, and vibrant cultural scene will have its annual celebration of all things quirky and creative! It promises to be a feast for the senses, drawing locals and visitors alike into its colorful embrace.

This year’s theme “Autumn Equinox” will feature an unforgettable day of music, art, costumes, and dancing, centered at Howard and 2nd Streets in downtown San Francisco, CA. From noon till 8 p.m, all Ages are invited, wheelchair Accessible, and access for children under 5. This festival will have 9 stages of music, an art Alley showcasing extreme creativity, a marketplace featuring unique goods, an eclectic menu of food and drink offer from food trucks and local restaurants, and lots of weirdness!

Music enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise with the faire’s diverse lineup of DJs and live bands. Electronic beats pulse through the air, merging genres and eras into a seamless soundtrack for the day’s festivities. Whether you’re into techno, house, funk, or something entirely unexpected, there’s a beat for every ear at How Weird.

The celebration of individuality via costume at the How Weird Street Faire is among its most alluring features. It is suggested that attendees dress in their most creative attire to turn the streets into a creative living mural.
