Everywhen in the Woods is back October 2–4, 2026, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, turning the redwoods into a three-day, two-night festival of music, art, camping, and creative experiences. This fall’s theme, Creatures Come Out at Night, is your excuse to get out of the city, put on a costume, and spend a weekend in the woods surrounded by music, art, and people who want to make something a little different.
If you like your festivals a little less polished and a lot more immersive, Everywhen is the kind of weekend where you can dance under the trees, explore art installations, jump into a workshop, meet new people, or just disappear into the forest for a few days. The centerpiece is Phantasia, an immersive art experience that comes alive as the sun goes down, along with the Creatures Parade and Saturday night Soirée.
The Everywhen in the Woods: Creatures Come Out at Night music lineup blends melodic live electronic music with deep, tribal underground dance music. Leading the musical acts is Kid Beyond, a prominent electro-soul singer, beatboxer, and live-looper from the San Francisco area, known for his intricate vocal looping and hypnotic electronic soundscapes. Joining him at the top of the roster is Elysian Moon, a rising live-electronic melodic house and techno duo from California’s Central Coast that weaves classical violin, piano, and cello with driving club rhythms. The deep bass and tribal grooves are heavily represented by Santa Cruz’s own Agua Mayyim, a popular husband-and-wife bass music project that builds immersive global dance tracks, alongside the atmospheric sounds of King Kairos.
The full roster flows through sets from Elysian Moon, King Kairos, Alia, Mayvyn, and Agua Mayyim. The line-up continues with Avira Pearl, a soulful electronic producer who blends lush downtempo beats with atmospheric world elements, alongside Kid Beyond, Priscilla, Vena, House of Jheet, Sage Farris, Samira, and Minni Smalls. Listeners can dive into the sounds of Moonlust, a hypnotic underground electronic act that blends darkwave synth textures with driving dance rhythms, before moving into performances by Sana, Tess Howell, Aztechno, and Antony Bianchini. The musical journey also features Janet Noguera, an award-winning fingerstyle acoustic guitarist known for her intricate rhythms and complex, cinematic instrumentals, String Landscapes, Uneqque, and Entheoscillator, a modular synthesis project crafting evolving psychedelic soundscapes and organic frequencies. The sonic landscape is rounded out by Singing Wood Marimba, Shamim, Ancestral Resonance, and a distinct Ancient Tones, Modern Souls performance.
Whether you want to dance late into the night or find something more mellow tucked into the woods, there will be music happening throughout the weekend.

Costumes are encouraged, but you don’t need to arrive with an elaborate character or a suitcase full of festival gear. Everywhen is built around participation, so bring something you want to share, make, perform, teach, learn, or simply experience.
Saturday brings the Creatures Parade, with costumes, masks, lanterns, puppets, live music, and whatever else the village dreams up. Later that night, everyone gathers for the Soirée, a shared dinner beneath the redwoods.
