All articles should be composed on Google Docs to enable feedback from the blog editor during the drafting phase.

Here’s a quick visual tutorial for composing and sharing a new article with the blog editor on Google Docs. Click Desktop, iOS, or Android for device specific details.

Desktop

Click the “New (+)” button and select New Document

Compose your article as you would in any text editor

Click the “Untilted Document” placeholder on the top left to title your article

Click the “Share” button on the top right to invite the blog editor to comment and collaborate

Select any text you’d like the editor to focus on and click the “Add Comment” bubble or right click and select “Comment” to leave a note for the editor to see

Click highlighted text to view comment threads. Generally, the editor will “Resolve” topics, but you may click “Resolve” if you’d like to withdraw the request for feedback.

Add images and formatting elements by clicking “Insert” on the menu bar

iOS

Click the “New (+)” button and select New Document

Add a title for your article

Compose your article as you would in any text editor

Click the 3 dots to open the menu pane. Touch “Share & Export”, and then select “Add People”

Enter the name/email address of the BB Blog Editor to invite them to provide feedback and edits for publishing

Touch and hold a word and drag the tabs that appear to select any text you’d like the editor to focus on, and touch “Add Comment” to leave a note for the editor to see

Add images and formatting elements by clicking the + symbol

Android

Click the “New (+)” button and select New Document

Compose your article as you would in any text editor

Click the check mark to save the document then click the title bar add a new title
