Premiere: Giant Metal Crickets “An Act Of Letting Go”

Giant_Metal_Crickets_incito_Design_5

Giant Metal Crickets debut album incito is a nail biting action packed psychological instrumental electronica thriller and we’re excited to premiere a little taste of the action. On the album, songs often swell to NIN level convulsions but just when you think you can’t possibly take anymore, a tantalizing hook lays you on a bed of tranquility as you continue head bobbing. The creator, Adam Tenenbaum, is a skilled guitarist but the instrument is often indiscernible under the layers of textures indicating “An Act Of Letting Go” of the known as the title of the song suggests. He often opens up to live instruments when you least expect it. It’s the kind of respite that intelligent music lovers find essential to dig deeper into electronic music; the influence of jazz, roots, you know real music that makes me want to dig deeper into Flying Lotus but turn off most DJs. What you are witnessing is the fusion of 2 forms and if you want to take a ride, give it the proper spin on good speakers or headphones.

incito releases March 1st here.
